Mother, you give so much of yourself,
asking nothing for your labor.
Your unique ability to endure all things
must be linked to God’s special favor.

I believe you’re precious in His eyes,
and He takes good care of you.
He showers you with love and compassion,
for they show in all you do.

You’re always there for me,
and I’ve never heard you complain.
I thank God for a mother I can count on through sunshine or rain.

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates” (Proverb 31:30-31).
