May God Comfort You

“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted” (Matt. 5:4).

God’s Comforting Arms

When it seems like the sun has stopped shining,
and the clouds only give way to rain,
God can take you in His arms
and heal your deepest pain.

In His arms, He’ll gently rock you,
and cause your sorrows to cease.
There’s no touch like that of the Master’s
that can bring great lasting peace.

Trust Him with your hurts today.
He’ll never do you any harm.
He only wants to love you
and comfort you in His arms.

In times like these,
we need God’s comforting arms.
Let Him wrap you gently,
and show you how much
He cares for you.

He can strengthen, heal,
and carry you.
Whatever you need,
just ask the Lord.
